The best thing I ever did was take my husband to Banner Hospital Alzherimer's Center. From there he went to a Hospital that specialized in Alzheimer's and they got him on the correct medication and it works with his BP. He went from Moderate to Severe Alzheimer's in just 7 months. He hasn't eaten this much food in six years. He eats all of the food placed in front of him. I took him to barber and he got a haircut (was always a screaming match before), then we went out to eat and he ate all his food, we came home and he went into shower and I scrubbed his body from top to bottom, shampooed his hair, shaved him. I cut all his nails on toes and fingers. He put on clean clothes. Wow, he looks so much different. New medication: Risperidone, Trazodone, citalopram, vit. B-12, multi vitamin. He is not agitated as often . His mind is almost all gone but at least I am able to tolerate the new husband.

shearbear,
Great news.
Is Banner Hospital Alz Center and the Hospital in Arizona?
I am so glad they got his medications corrected and that he is eating and doing better.
