Looking for a CBD product that can fight vascular dementia

My mother is 82 years old, and she has vascular dementia.

In a previous thread on this forum, we discussed how CBD oil can help vascular-dementia patients. That thread is the following:

https://www.alzconnected.org/discussion.aspx?g=posts&t=2147557758

In the above thread, one of the posts states that something called peroxynitrite is heavily involved in vascular dementia, that several components of marijuana are scavengers of peroxynitrite, and that, therefore, CBD oil has the potential to treat vascular dementia.

Furthermore, activating CB2 (cannabinoid) receptors in the brain with CBD oil has increased brain-cell activity and helped reduce brain-cell damage commonly associated with vascular dementia. So says the following web page:

https://www.dementiacarecentral.com/aboutdementia/treating/cbd/

So, I need some CBD oil that can 1) go after the peroxynitrite that is involved
in my mother's vascular dementia and 2) activate the CB2 receptors in her brain.

My mother lives in a nursing home. Therefore, she is not allowed to have THC. So, the CBD oil that she uses must be a CBD isolate or broad-spectrum CBD.

Also, the CBD oil must be in capsule form. She can easily receive capsule medications via her feeding tube. If she is given liquid CBD oil by mouth, she will probably spit it out.

So, what is a good CBD product for my mother?

Thank you.

While looking for an answer to your question, I found some articles on CBG oil which I had never heard of before.  It does come in capsule form.  However, it has not been studied very much and it is expensive.  The studies that do exist are quite promising, though.

There is one thing I forgot to mention.

My mother has had a problem with agitation. Right now, she is on a small dose of the anti-psychotic medication Seroquel (25 mg in the morning, 50 mg at bedtime).

She will have to get off the Seroquel before she can take the CBD oil. That is because Seroquel and CBD oil do not mix well.

The CBD oil is going to have to keep her calm. In other words, the CBD oil will have to do Seroquel's job. If the CBD oil can not keep her calm, then the nursing-home staff will insist that she get back to using Seroquel.

As for the CBG oil, perhaps there is a broad-spectrum CBD product that includes some amount of CBG oil.

This can be an issue.

There was a poster on this board who had great success in using a synthetic THC product (dronabinol) to calm his mother (she had Alzheimer's disease).   It may be that a broad spectrum CBD oil would work as well, but it is hard to know for sure.

I heard something similar about CBD how it helps keep us calm.

I took CBD for bad arthritis in back and neck, anxiety and sleep apnea.

I told the young lady at the CBD shop of my diagnosis and she said I could benefit from taking a sleep gummy.
