So this morning I go for my morning walk, after I have made it around the park there is a dog, no collar. I give it a good pet. Friendliest thing. I worry there are cars what am I to do, forgot cell phone at home. So I start walking again and the poor fellow follows me all the way home. I get in the house and tell my husband I was followed home, he's confused, so I tell him it's a dog, a puppy husky less than a year old but weighs about 80lbs.
So we bring him into our yard with our two dogs, a little jack Russell who thinks she's a big dog and a husky/golden retriever mix. Oh boy what excitement for 8:30 in the morning. Called animal control and the poor thing had no chip, but the pound has a no euthanization.(is that a word?)
We were sorry to see him go, he was beautiful.
Just thought I would share something good! 🐕

Yes you had quite an exciting morning! Good save Gwen! That poor pup surely could have got hit by a car! If there is a next time there might be a local internet site where you can post the dogs picture. That's how my granddaughter's dog, Elvis, was found.

Gwen! I admire you for letting it follow you home and still being able to have a shelter take the dog for adoption and check up. Appreciate your good news - he knew you had good vibes.

That dog did sense the vibe and knew who to follow! If only we humans could be so smart!
