Have noticed you've posted this video link multiple times on different threads and forums.  Did you take part in creating it?  Did it help you deal with grandparent's illness and your feelings?   The video posts an interesting matter...yes, what does each person feel integral, something that they would not want to forget?  I am curious whether the people interviewed have any experience with dementia?   Personally, I see a common thread, a fear of loss of identity.  Since you state in your profile that you are a grandchild of a person with dementia, I assume you know that the tragedy of dementia involves so much more in addition to memory loss (i.e. dementia steals away a person's confidence, independence, then dignity and eventually their very life.

Do you feel to be part of this community yet?   You mention in your profile caregiver stress.  Are you among the primary caregivers of your ailing grandparent?  Is there a care at home situation?  At a nursing home or memory care facility?  What support can our board offer you?  I hope you stay, and that you feel comfortable here.  This board is a lifeline.
