Christmas Without You
The season
is upon me, the one I love so much
But it
won’t be the same without you here to touch
When
Christmas starts without you I’m not sure what I’ll do
Most of
all those memories start and end with you.
The
snow won’t be as white, the magic will be gone
When I
hear Christmas music, will I want to sing along?
I want
to feel the joy that this season always brings
But every
time I try to smile, the pain I feel just stings
I know
you want me happy and to enjoy this blessed season
But without
you here on earth I struggle to find a reason
Your
Christmas will be in Heaven this year so I’ll just have to pray
That God
will bless and keep you and by his side you’ll stay
I feel you all around me Mom even though you’re far from
sight,
I’ll search for you among the twinkle of stars on Christmas
night.
Love you Momma

Beautiful, touching poem. I'm not a big "crier" but I'm kind of weepy today, and this added tears. That's not a bad thing, though, as crying is sometimes needed.
Thank you for sharing your heart.
