I am a 63 year old Jewish woman with Alzheimer's, living in Rancho Mirage.
I am home most of the time, with my dogs, my hubby, my safe place.
Perhaps there is someone who also finds today's distractions, choices, varieties, and virtual options may not be the life you recognize anymore.
I feel lost wherever I go
Do you?

Welcome, missy. Living with dementia is indeed lonely. My diagnosis from my neurologist is cognitive impairment, although the geriatrician said I had dementia. I have been able to continue to live independently by following the guidance of and with the support of the members here. One of the best advice I received is not to focus on what I can no longer do, but to focus on what I can still do. I turned 70 this year, and I'm in the LA area. I hope you continue to post.

I would not share your email and reach out to her privately. You can go back and deleted it by editing it.
