My DH is now in a nursing home because besides his dementia, he can no longer walk or stand. He has to be moved with the hoyer lift. I am not able to be with him because of Covid, but I can see and talk to him on something similar to Zoom called Google Duo. In the last few months, I never get to talk. He talks nonstop about nothing that make much sense. Is this a normal development in the progression of his Alzheimers? Also I don't know how to handle it when I can't be with him and he gets upset about something. The last time I talked to him he wanted to get in his car and drive..
