Iris recently posted on the caregiver's board, and I responded with the following, which I'd like to share directly with all of you:
I admire all caregivers because this is such a difficult disease for our LOs as well as for us. But I have a special affection for those of you who overcome so much to come be a part of this community. I know some of the things you read must be frightening to you, and yet you persevere.
We not only learn from you about dementia, but we also learn about courage. Thank you each and every one for what you contribute to us.

I'd be lost without my sister, Dad, BIL, daughter, SIL and friends and family!
