Today is 10 months since I lost Mom. I didn't make it to the cemetery on my lunch because I had to take my daughter to the dentist. I was feeling very low about not going especially since it's such a beautiful, sunny day. Well, one of my co-workers came in and asked me if the clock was wrong. When I looked up the clock over my desk had stopped on the "exact" time that Mom had passed away. Do you think this is just a coincidence or did Mom pay me a visit because I was feeling so low?!

I don't know.  But I know if it were me, I'd probably be having similar thoughts.

Enjoy the sun.  Stop before you get in your car, or on the bus, or whatever, and let the sun warm your face and soak into your soul.  I find nothing on earth as healing as the warmth of the sun.

Hugs!

Oh, freaky.  Maybe just a little "hello" from your mom.

I believe your mom was trying to let you know that everything was ok, that she is with you wherever you are.  I believe in the presence of our loved ones. when I am feeling down I can smell a different kind of smell that I cannot describe like a herb type of smell a good smell and I just know it is mom.

I agree, the sun seems to soothe the soul. Today is supposed to be sunny and 72 so I plan to do just that. I will go the cemetery on my lunch and allow the sun to warm my face and my soul.

Maral51, I do get a smell that I know is my Mom. I'm the only one in the house that smells it and it's always around the same time of night. My Mom was a smoker until she had to start using oxygen. Always around 9:00 - 9:30 some evenings I get the faint smell of cigarette smoke, not a real strong smell, but very faint. The smell comes and goes quickly. Probably not even 30 seconds, just long enough for me to notice it.

I don't believe this is a coincidence.

I agree ~ I don't think it was coincidence. Not since it was the exact time she passed away. I think she was reminding me she is still with me. A gentle, little hug and a hello.
