My husband's retired guide dog, Jane Baby, hasn't been feeling well over the past few days.  We learned today that she has metastatic cancer that has spread into her lungs.  Jane Baby just has a few weeks to live so we have keeping her happy and comfortable.  When Jane Baby wasn't able to serve my husband, she became a therapy dog at a nursing home where she brought a lot of happiness to residents that didn't have any visitors.  They really looked forward to Jane Baby's visits every week.  She's such a beauty, a yellow lab.

Hugs, Debra.

I tried to write the other day, but I kept loosing the internet connection.

I am so sorry for Baby Jane's failing health. It is so difficult to see our family pets become ill.

Big hugs, LJ

I'm so sorry.  She has brought so much joy to others in her life.  My mother's dog lived 2 years after she died, and when he passed away it was so difficult, it was like losing another piece of her.

I am so sorry about Jane Baby.  These sweet animals are such a wonderful gift to us and when they leave, they take a piece of our heart with them.

I had to put my sweet cat to rest two weeks ago, she had an aggressive squamous cell carcinoma under her tongue, spreading very fast and it wasn't favorably treatable.  She meant so much to me, she was the sweetest cat I have ever met, she would touch her paw to my face and she would pull my hand to her face.  She was almost human, she was a rescue that came from a bad place, but you never would have known that because of her sweetness and gentleness.  She loved to cuddle and I miss her every day and I always will.

I hope we meet up again one day.

So sorry to hear of Jane Baby's failing health. I'm sure that she has brought much comfort to you and your husband. My wife Kathy passed 9 days ago. Our Chloe watched my DW like a hawk. Our 4 legged family members are special. Wishing you the best.

What a rich and rewarding life Jane Baby has had.  Love embodied.

I'm sorry you are losing such a special friend.

Soft hugs,  Cynthia
