My aunt and her family had made a donation to the daycare where my my dad " volunteered for the old folks".

I spoke with the director who told me they finally got the approval ( red tape of course) to be able to do what they wanted to.

As many of you knew, my dad loved to be outside.  " I need to get fresh air, I'm an outside person".  Oh, if I had a penny for every time I heard that!

At the center, there is a patio and garden, grill etc.

They are getting bids this week to put a fountain in dads name outside.

Isn't that beautiful!!!!!!!

I cried, for he so loved it there, and they love him. What a beautiful way to honor his memory!

Always be VK

It made my heart smile! They're hoping to have it done by mid summer.  I'll be sure to update and put a picture up.

Thank you for the birthday wishes

A fountain.

What a metaphor. Your Dad must love the idea! all over the world people and animals and birds love to be near moving water. Fountains are healing.

wonderful. thank you for sharing this.

much love ( you did so good    )

Very special, and heartwarming.  I'm sure he would love it and how wonderful for you, many others share your love with your father.  It's a wonderful thing to be remembered with tribute and love.
