Hi Sandy,
I read this when you first posted it and just reread it. I feel that way about Charles - that's he gone but he's also with me all the time, in my heart and in my mind.
It's a lovely poem but it brings tears to my eyes. I have a picture of Charles on the table next to his chair and I look at it a hundred times a day - it's taken of him sitting in the chair looking at me. I've seen him sitting there, looking at me just that way, so often that it makes me kind of feel that he's still there, if just in spirit.
