Dementia battle is over

My husband passed away yesterday after battling dementia for several years.  I was with him at the end, holding his hand and we were looking into each others eyes.  I am still numb,  I knew it was coming but that doesn't make it hurt any less.

I know life is not fair, but he was only 63 years old,  much too young for this.

Rest in peace my sweet Dave.

So young.

I send my sympathy along with a viral hug, hand to hold and shoulder to lean on.

So sorry for your loss. I now it is more than unfair but god may have better things for us to do.

Dave must have deserved all of your love and you knew how to be by his side. This is my idea of love. A burden, and a final death sentence... but meanwhile... a goal.

Here if you need me,

This is such sad news. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Of course you are numb, and sadly will be for quite sometime. Be kind to yourself, take time for yourself and allow the good memories to overtake the sad ones.
