I have read an article about early onset genes https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamaneurology/fullarticle/2645746

And I’m not sure if they say that the Identified genes are only risk genes which increase the risk of getting early onset ad or if they Identified genes like the psen1 gene which guarantee the development of the disease and are inherited Autosomal dominant. In table 2 they have count some known genes like the psen1 psen2 an Mapt which are all known to cause autosomal dominant inheritance but the is also the sorl 1 gene where i thought this is only a risk factor for early and late onset ad.

Variants in SORL1 gene are a risk factor for Alzheimer's disease.  At least one variant may be determinant, but this has not been proven yet.

Means that most variants only increase the risk and there may be one variant which can cause autosomal dominant disease?

Perhaps one or a few more variants may cause autosomal dominant disease.  They don't seem to know for certain yet.
