A Perfect Christmas Gift

Our usual Christmas Eve Party this year was cut down to a few family members due to COVID. As our dinner got under way there was a knock at our door. I opened the door and in walked Santa. My DH turned to see Santa and the most radiant, child-inspired smile crossed over his face. As Santa approach him and handed him a gift the joy on his face just warmed my heart. It wasn't until late in the night that I had time to think about Santa's arrival and the tears that ran down my face as I recall the look on my husband's face. For just a moment I could see what I hadn't seen in such a long time - a laugh, a smile, an emotion.

This Christmas was really special. We celebrated it together with our neighbor who lives alone (his grandson lives very far away and didn`t have the funds to come to him). This neighbor is very kind to give our son a magic set . We also wanted to please him and paid for his grandson's way. It was so touching and enjoyable.
