New studies of Alzheimer's drugs, brain imaging seek volunteers

Volunteers are needed for the following clinical trials and studies related to Alzheimer's disease, cognitive function, and obstructive sleep apnea, which have been recently added to the National Institute on Aging (NIA) listing. Major Studies Still Recruiting

Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative 2 (ADNI2)-seeking volunteers age 65 to 90 with significant memory concerns but no cognitive impairment, early mild cognitive impairment, or mild Alzheimer's to participate in this groundbreaking effort (multiple sites in the U.S. and Canada)
Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer's Network (DIAN)-seeking adult children age 18 and older with a biological parent who has a known genetic mutation for Alzheimer's (multiple sites)
Systolic Blood Pressure Intervention Trial, Memory and Cognition in Decreased Hypertension (SPRINT-MIND)-recruiting volunteers age 50 or older with high blood pressure-systolic (upper) number of at least 130-who have a history of heart disease or chronic kidney disease or are at risk for heart disease, but with no history of diabetes or stroke (multiple sites)
