My focused on mechanical solutions: Light therapy, RadioWaves, Near InfraRed light, 40Hz Sound and Light therapay, they all create a reaction within the cells, without any significant ( documented as of January 1, 2020) side-effects.
Ultrasound in the 1980's did cause tissue heating and damage, but scientist figured out to used pulsed frequency ( 50% on, followed immediately, by being off for the same amount of time so any heat would dissipate)
Ultrasound treatments for cancer does have some pain associated with it, but there haven't been any reports of pain or side effects that I am aware of for any neurological ultrasound treatments.
So now, I can say that the drug trial I am interested in that's the purified resin plant used by Greeks for medicine dating back to the 1800's.
The biggest complaint anyone has had of the twice weekly injection is swelling at the site of injection. The trials sounds very safe, and effective.
But you could also try the mastic powder in capsules, chewing mastic gum (carefully), or just try eating a lot of turkish delight.

What's the name of the drug? Who's doing the trial? Is it listed in clinicaltrials.gov or somewhere else?

Its called Mastic, and it also has a chemical name. Just a sec. They are all in Canada, Ontario and Quebec.
Its called RPh201
By the company called Regenera.
