I heard a report that dark roast coffee is good to help protect from Alzheimers
Matcha Green Tea or green tea helps. If interested, should look up information online. Olive oil- 2 to 5 tablespoons per day- Possible in fruit smoothie? Mango, Blueberry and Stawberry as example Mangos source of vitamin E, C and beta carotine Try blueberries, kale, beets, avacodos, barley, strawberries, spinach, liver, oatmeal, tuna. Large bowl of strawberries may prevent or reverse alzheimers To help prevent memory loss avoid red meat and saturated fats such as whole milk products. Omega 3s in foods such as flaxseed, dark leafy greens, walnuts. Experts recommend 2 serviings per week or tuna, mackerel or salmon per week. If you have someone who has Alzheimers, Parkinsons or Dementia- maybe check the library for books or other places with books that might have recommendations for people with these conditions. Or look online for health related information with recommendations. for the conditions. Heart health and Alzheimers may have a connection. A high fiber low fat diet might be recommended.
If you are trying dark coffee, green tea, olive oil or diet recommendations-maybe see if you notice what is working and continue things that are working. Social involvement is also recommended.
People with Alzheimers have lower levels of folate and vitamin B12. Eggs good source along with broccoli, beans, okra. Fortified cereals recommended. Nuts, beans and rice good source of Thiamine.
