Thank you Quits, they are beautiful.  I feel calmer after looking at them.  Did you take the photos?

Sea Field,

Yes I took the beach photos with my cell phone and the hot air balloons with a Kodak easyshare.  I have more photos of both on my Facebook page if you want to friend me: LaQuita Sullivan Herrin.  It is hard to find things I enjoy that I can do with my husband but photos are easy to do with him.

Quits,  I'm glad you found something you can do with your husband.  Not easy to find things sometimes.

Unfortunately, I'm a dinosaur in that I'm not on facebook.  I did join the 21st century when I started texting though - ha!

You have a beautiful uplifting spirit.  Thank you so much for all the encouragement you post in these forums.

Blessings to you.  Cynthia

Thanks Cynthia, I am trying hard to remember that God has so much good in the world. I will miss the good if I only focus on the illness.

The flowering plants in the sand - that's us.  Blooming in difficult terrain.  As best we can.

That is what I loved about the flowers!  It was very hot when I took that photo but they were there blooming not wilting.

The lighthouse was St. Augustine, FL's.  I had to stop and rest a few minutes halfway up but the view and the photos made it worth the effort and I shared the trip with my daughter.  We took a quick trip while my husband was at work so I didn't have to worry about him climbing any stairs.

On a crazy, hectic, husband asking same questions over, confusion day, at the end of a long hall across from my chair in a corner while my husband had another hearing test, GOD was there...leaving me a heart and it made my day better.

I found this helping my husband pick up the piles of leaves he rakes to stay busy.

LaQuita,  I love your pictures and envy your ability to get out and visit these places.   Truth is I feel saudade for the days in our past when we could do so many simple but fascinating things.

I saw your suggestion  to Cynthia to friend you on Facebook.  If you see a request from Sue Abney,  that's me.

Sue, I saw the friend request before I saw this but when I looked at your picture I got a huge smile on my face and said to Doug "Mama Sue friended me on Facebook!"    He doesn't know who Mama Sue is and he thought he was forgetting a mama.  LOL.  I hope you look through my albums and enjoy!

We are not going many places now either.

I found this nest after a storm....in the country, on a dirt road.  Our daughter owns her Grandpa's property now but doesn't get mail in the box.

Thanks Milly,

A lot of the photos are taken with my cell phone and then cropped.
