This is not a super easy read but since we are concerned with drugs that pass through the barrier I think it is worth the read.

Thanks Victoria. “This approach could offer a new potential form of Alzheimer’s treatment, especially given the fact that so few treatments have been demonstrated to be effective.” Let's hope so.

I saw this while we were on vacation this week. I have sent out an email to my cousin, who is a neuro scientist specifically researching drug delivery through the BBB. He had a lab in major research univ until last year when his wife took a position at UCSF (also a neuro scientist), and in moving out west to SF he went private sector. He has worked in the past with Genentech while at his last research post. He is an amazing resource, providing me with the real scoop on what is happening, and I will return here with any insight he provides when I hear back.

You should ask your cousin if she is connected to me on LinkedIn? If not I will gladly add her to my network as I am connected to most of them in the world.
