Thanks to THK for finding and posting this trial on the I Have Alzheimer's or Other Dementia forum.

Very similar results were noted using Chinese herbs in conjunction with conventional Alzheimer's medications and with panax ginseng.

It certainly appears that with the right herbs you can stabilize mild and moderate Alzheimer's disease (with in some cases initial improvements in cognition) and slow down the later stages of Alzheimer's disease.

Another compound found in herbs (ferulic acid) may help with behavioral and psychiatric problems in various forms of dementia.

The future does not look bright (no cures in sight) but it is beginning to look brighter (more effective treatments).

Thanks so much for the link, MissHer.  This quote really hit me:

Wiebe believes the use of glyphosate on wheat may be connected to the rise in celiac disease. “We’ve seen an explosion of gluten intolerance,” he said. “What’s really going on?”

They spray it on grains to dry them faster for harvest. Oats, barely, wheat, beans, etc. Quaker Oats is getting sued. I live in IA I call Monsanto state. It's in our water and goes down stream to the gulf I believe. They do still spray the GMO corn. I lived in the country for a few years. They even had small planes flying right by our house spraying for bugs I assume.

I have heard about widespread spraying on various crops, so thank you for the direct information.  That is my concern about GMO corn, it will just lead to the greater use of Roundup.
