Agree on the skepticism about the Biogen hype I mean announcement.
I posted this on the caregivers forum, but perhaps it belongs over here: If you could donate to one Alzheimer's research organization, which would it be, and why?

The Buck Institute for Research on Aging does some good work exploring the multiple causes of Alzheimer's diseases and looking at a variety of different treatment regimes. Dr. Dale Bredesen's work in this regards is best known, but not the only area of research at the institute.
Michael's recommendation for UsAgainstAlzheimer's is a good one as they have a very genuine interest in helping to find answers to the disease, unlike certain other organizations that just stress a drug solution.
I am sad that you and your father had to experience Alzheimer's disease and for the recent loss of your father. I am sure that he would appreciate your donation to a worthy organization.

You are welcome, i2i. I think there is still hope for us when it comes to Alzheimer's disease. I only wish that it could have come faster.
