I am not thankful for memory loss, but I can be thankful in memory loss.
I have so much to be thankful for, that I cannot think of everything. But the main things are my salvation, the fact that I have all my senses, I can walk unaided, I speak clearly. I am financially stable. I have a home to live in. My medical conditions are under control. My cognitive impairment is stabilized. I have good doctors guiding me. I have real support from my fellow members on this board. My family is healthy and in no great distress. I live in a free country. I am thankful Best Practices was discovered and promoted.
I will be thinking of everyone on the boards, the active members and the lurkers, and praying for everyone. Thank you all for being here! Thank you for the love and support and guidance that you so freely give.
I wish all my cyber-family a Happy Thanksgiving holiday!

Love you Iris.
I'm thankful you were on boards when I was diagnosed and set me on the right course.
Also that I am warm, dry, have food and clean water, not in a war zone and my dog is content.

Happy Thanksgiving! Grateful for being able to read this post this morning. Gratitude, anger and sadness do not mix together. May gratitude for all we have and love rule our heart's and mind's! May there be peace around the world! I am grateful for all of you and all the hope, love and courage you have instilled in me. Thank you!
