Falls Prevention Awareness Day(1)

Today is the first day of fall, and thus is a good day to refresh ourselves about Falls Prevention.  Falls are a major cause of injury and even death.  


Many falls can be preventable.  Technically, tripping is considered a fall.  Since several of us have posted about falls recently, and we all know how serious falls are,  I won't belabor the importance of falls prevention.


Here is a great video from Australia on managing Home Hazards to prevent falls.  There are other short videos to watch regarding Falls Prevention.  Let's all remain SAFE!

I'm okay, Michael.  I was thinking of Ilee and  a couple of other members who have fallen recently.  Falls can be very dangerous.
