Jagged Ground

In the stillness of the night
While the moon shines bright
From deep within my thoughts
Hallow rising knot in my soul
What do you want me to know
Are you sadness buried without release
Are you anticipation of peace
I listen but do not hear
I feel but cannot know
A candle shines from far away
Approach or be swallowed
That which pushes to escape
Is buried far within
Heart matters unspoken
Crushing me down
Do not take me with you
Unsteady jagged ground
Volatile in the middle
Not that way
A door is closing
Behind or in front
Stand, step, be still, do not move
Let me go, let me go.

Hi friends, I'm still here, popping in with thoughts written just after my DH passed. Take care, be well., Love has found me once again.

Always a joy to read your thoughts, Tanya. Especially in poetic form. By the way, I am of the opinion that love never really ever left you. You just seem to be that kind of a person.

Thanks for sharing Tanya.  I could so relate to your words.

Glad love found you again.  Life is so much brighter that way!
