We have all been warned that you better view things in terms of their

reality and not yours. This was vividly reinforced when I recently asked her,

"How do you feel."

Very appropriately she said, "With my hands."

Past and future thoughts may be gone but the present offers wonderful moments.

It is when they say something like that with either their innocent honesty or their wit shining through that give that glimmer of hope....if only there was a cure today, it might not be too late for my LO.  The laughs or smiles it provides are priceless.  Thanks for sharing!

It’s never too late. To grasp and embrace the moment. To make the most of it. Even after a loved one’s death. It’s not as if someone has totally disappeared. There is always something to hold on to. Maybe it’s the spirit. More real, more penetrating, more precious even than the physical presence.  --Jim
