For active, musicians with early onset at age 60? At this point we are willing to travel anywhere. I've done the "tours" in L.A. Area. My spouse totally doesn't fit in with the age 90's crowd yet.

I posted some info to you when you first asked this question on the Spouse/Partner board. Can you find that thread? If you search for Always Best Care Home Care in Torrance run by David Hart PhD, he may have some ideas.
Look at Silverado in Redondo Beach.
Also ask for Tara Guden MSW at Beach Cities Health District

I'm doing fine. Molokai, I notice that you seem to give up when you reach a roadblock. I have done the same. I know, the whole experience can be discouraging at times. But keep perservering. Many people who say they are professionals in the senior care business seem to be clueless. This has been my experience. The solution is to keep searching until you find someone who knows what he or she is talking about, a truely knowledgeable professional, and then stick with that person and ask questions and seek guidance. At the same time, come back to the message board and get confirmation from the members here, who do know what they are talking about. I don't think you will find better support on the internet than here.
Don't give up!
Take care of yourself!
