Iris,

In one of your past posts you mentioned that depression can affect memory too. How true that is. Today  I went to a gas station and paid for a drink. I gave the cashier two bucks  she game me my change and then I said I gave you five Bucks. She said no it was two. Then I realized my mistake and apologized. My state of my mind was really depressed and I couldnt focus. Im going to my sisters house hope I feel better. Just thought of sharing.

John, these are the type of incidents you need to "shrugg" off. Not all that important in the scheme of things. I have learned to laugh at myself and be at ease with small lapses. Now, when they get huge- that will be another topic!!  Keep smiling!

John, like judy said that type of absent-mindedness is very common.  I wouldn't even call it depression.  You had something else on your mind.  Try to shrug it off and take a break

judy,

You're right about the small vs big lapses.  As long as I don't forget where I'm driving I know I'm okay
