I read Ilee’s post on the post that the Alz moderator closed and then it disappeared. It was full of positivity and good will. I would love to see Ilee repost it here if possible. Ilee I hope you will see this and help keep this supportive forum going.

Did anyone else have a chance to read it?

I missed it too, came on this morning to see the thread locked, nothing changed to my understanding, and wondered what happened.

Hi Unforgiven and jfkoc, what do you think happened? I was just trying to keep this forum going. Thanks for making the effort. Wish Ilee would come here and post.

I do not know what happened but I believe that the moderators always post if they remove a post.

If llee removed her post there would be no notification.

Good idea to keep the forum going. Your organizational system would be a great share. Some of what you do helped me.

Posts can be removed or edited at any time by the poster.

The moderator can ask for a post to be edited or removed. They can lock a thread. I think they can delete a post or a thread but not certain of that.

Any interference by the moderators is posted by them.

The moderator will only act when the agreement we all signed has been violated.

I think about half of the disappearing posts are from people who make a post with some strong emotion in it, then think better and temove it.  Or maybe they think they have revealed too much or whatever.   I have been known to do this myself.  The other half removed by moderators is people getting in spats and saying something that might be construed as a personal attack or something unhelpful in general.  I have served as a moderator elsewhere myself, and the standards about what crosses the line can vary greatly.
