Here is a link to a group that is providing assistance in developing dementia friendly communities in our own neighbohoods and towns. 

When going to the link, I found it interesting to watch the short Sector Videos that give a good overview how different groups within the community can become assistive.

If one presented this to one's City Hall or had a relative or friend who would want to send this information on to whatever groups in one's town/city are involved in senior and dementia affairs, that would be a start.

It costs next to nothing to put such a program together with various groups and businesses withing a town or city and can reap many benefits.

That is a great program and everyone should try to start one in their own area. That is how we will help break some of the stigma.
