yay Ruth.... my DH liked to play the lotto...we would get his ticket and when the numbers came out I would give him the paper opened to the winning numbers and he would circle the numbers that matched and be so excited if he won 1 or 2 dollars.  It finally got to the point where he was so confused he would circle all his ticket numbers exclaiming he won, lol.  I would always tell him he won 1 or 2 dollars and when we would go 'cash in' and buy a new ticket, I would slip the clerk a dollar or two and they would tell him he won and give him the money.  Occasionally he would want a scratch ticket...he would scratch then tear ticket in half if it was time he did that and thankfully he had torn the ticket horizontally because he had actually won $30...the bar code was not damaged so we were able to cash it in.  He got so much joy out of his 'gambling'...alas, its been over 3 yrs since he played or remembered he played...sure do miss those times.

Great!!! That is like a 200% return on your investment.  Much better than my 401k is doing. Sometimes our blessings are small but many.

I agree with Markus. Two hundred percent return on your investment. Maybe I need your advice, Ruth.

My advice.  Try not to get broke, like Ruth.
