Is there a link between dementia and diabetes?
Is there a type 3 diabetes?
Can dementia progress be slowed down by better managing A1c in diabetes?

Amy Joy, in 2010 I read an article calling Alzheimer's Disease "diabetes type 3". It has not been definitely recognized, but that was enough for me to become more mindful of my own Hgb A1c level. The way I look at it, avoiding diabetes can't hurt, and may help. I also eat a lot of antioxidants.

Hi Iris!
Yeah that’s a good idea!
There are times when I struggle with my a1c.
It’s good to know my dementia isn’t getting worse from diabetes.
