I've been thinking about you all day.  I pray your mom's celebration of life was wonderful, and very purple.

It was wonderful, I posted about it. Everyone showed up in purple, never knew we had so many shades of purple. It was wonderful and I know she would of been so happy and proud.

Cousin showed up that I haven't seen in years. My 2 friends from high school days helped to keep the food flowing. It was a very pretty day her in Covina, in the 80's. My backyard looked like Easter.

Rosemarie, I'm so glad your mom's celebration of life went so well.  Thank you for posting about it. I read your detailed account on the thread you created.   I'm so glad you had so much loving support from friends and family.  The outpouring of love helps the healing process.  It would be nice if your sister were able to thank you.  I'm glad that she was able to help over the weekend, and to acknowledge you.  

As for your mom's financial advisor, that person may need to hear from an estate attny that a person's bill's must be paid off.  I pray the mgmt of your mom's estate will not be a headache for you.  she would not want that.

Covina!   That teaches me to read profiles more carefully. We're much closer than I thought.     My mom's last ALF was in Azusa.

Yes, the weather was beautiful on Saturday.  I wore a long sleeve purple shirt but had to come home between errands and change into a short sleeved purple shirt.
