Dear Friends, I have been thinking of you. As you know Austin had foot surgery Aug. 31st, well his body rejected the stitches and the wound wasn't closing and he developed staph infection this past week. Has been out of school, back on crutches and post op shoe and on 2 different anti-biotics. Still waiting on cultures to come back to what strain of staph it is. I looked at it last night before I dressed it after his shower and it didn't loook any better, but it didn't look any worse. He could really use your prayers right now.
As for me just been busy trying to keep up with life. Austin will be 18 Sept. 2nd. He got his gift yesterday, I thought that it would lift his spirits a little. He had been wanting a Smart Phone and that is what he got. It is pretty cool! Has GPS and all kinds of neat gadgets on it. He spend all day on it as he can get internet and all that, just like a computer!
Will write more later, Tracy

Well, hello there dear Tracey - I am so sorry to hear about Austin's infection and so hope it clears soon. I'm sure the doctor is keeping a close eye on it. It seems that a mother goes from one concern to another.
And eighteen! Gosh, he grew so fast. Happy, happy birthday to Austin. His gift sounds absolutely terrific. He must of been over the moon with it. He sure will give it a workout what with being laid up with his foot and all.
How are you doing? Are the doc's doing a good job of keeping things on course for you?
Here we are, coming to the end of summer and I am waiting with excitement to hear about the news you have for us in September.
Won't be long before Halloween and autumn are visiting us and the days will become shorter once again. At least it will be cooler!
Thank you for dropping in to let us know what's up and do let us know how Mr. Austin is doing.
Hugs and more hugs,
Johanna C.

I will be praying for Austin's Rapid healing. I'm sure this must be a difficult time for you with the slow healing process.
I bet he is all excited about his early birthday present. 18 is a milestone in a young man's life. I remember when I got my first smartphone I was so excited and used it day in and day out. I was about 60 and had been using regular cell phones for quit a time.
Blessing to you all complete with a quick recovery.

A belated Happy 18th Birthday to Austen!
I'm sure he is enjoying his smartphone. I'm still trying to learn the features of my desktop (LOL).
I remember seeing him on your video a few years ago, he looked so small but wise beyond his years. It must be strange seeing your baby as a young man in front of you.
Wishing continued progress with the healing of his foot and that he'll be back getting out and about quickly.
