Study had a large number. MRI was taken after three years and the group will be monitored again.

This study talks about the benefit of exercise in the prevention of age-related memory loss, but not in the prevention of Alzheimer's disease.  They are not the same.

I remember several years ago Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes and a younger newsman did a series of memory tests together.  Mike Wallace was in is late 60s or early 70s.  He passed all the tests but was several seconds slower than the younger man.  He was said to have age related cognitive decline, but that is not the same as Alzheimer's disease.  Alzheimer's disease was not even mentioned in that brief tv test.
