Peter Ashley was a dementia rights advocate, and passed away from cancer on the 9th (I believe).  I did not know of him, or his work, but it appears from the community that he was as well regarded as Richard Taylor, who also passed away this year.

While I am probably not the best person to share this news, no one else was and I felt people would want to know.
