A message from the Alzheimer’s Association during Covid-19:

In these extraordinary times it is great to see that often the worst challenges bring out the best in people. Let’s continue to share our stories and offer meaningful messages of hope. At the Alzheimer’s Association, we are committed to bring you accurate and useful information. Remember that information and support are only a call or click away 24/7/365 through our Helpline at 800-272-3900 and this community.

Impact on Guidelines for Participation:

During Covid-19, we ask that members refrain from making political posts.  By “political,” we are referring to partisan comments that disparage a political figure, party or ideology (not reliable information about Covid-19, resources and so forth).

Accurate and reliable information about Covid-19:

We appreciate our partnership with you to ensure that the ALZConnected Online Community continues to be a safe place where people can come for support and understanding related to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.  Since the Covid-19 statistics change hour by hour, we prefer to direct you to trusted sources of updated information rather than have the numbers published here--where they are almost immediately obsolete. The Center for Disease Control website contains updates on what you need to know, how to protect yourself and your family, and all the latest numbers.
