My sugar passed on July 3. I was with him during the last 4 days. I left to get a couple hours of sleep since I had had a total of about 7 hours in those 4 days and 15 minutes after I left, he passed. I'm glad he's not scared all the time anymore, but it's a whole different level of sadness mixed with relief, anger, guilt and numbness. 9 people in his MC tested positive for Covid. His test was a negative, but I developed symptoms. They have been somewhat mild, but I am one of those younger, but compromised people. My first test was negative but my doctor does not believe it and we are waiting for results of a second test. And my central AC broke today. In late July. In Texas.

I am so sorry for the lost of your dear sweetheart. It is not uncommon (happened to me too) that a LO will pass when their LO steps away. I believe in God so I have to believe it was meant to be that way in my case.
I'm sorry you are now dealing with COVID-19 symptoms along with your grief! How horrid and I hope you will quickly recover from it. Sounds like you have a good doctor who is looking out for your health.
I lived in Houston so know how hot it can get in some parts of Texas. When our AC broke and couldn't get fixed for a few days, we bought a box fan and I put ice and water in a dish pan right in front of the fan and sat next to the air blowing across the pan. I also had a spray bottle of water and sprayed myself to keep cool. It helped a lot. At night I went to sleep in the lowest level of the house to keep cooler. Of course I did not open any blinds the whole time to keep the sunlight out.
Good luck and I hope you get well soon.

I hope you are feeling better from your symptoms you mentioned. Were your second COVID-10 test results also negative? I hope so! Take care and I hope you were able to stay cool this past week.
