Llee and Alz,
Both of you along with others help me thru the dementia journey when I was caring for my DH. He is in Heaven now. Bless the Both of You. Happy New Years. Hugs Zetta

I wonder if we will wake up in the morning and discover that 2020 was just a bad dream?
If not, Llee (I called you Ilee for so long), Alz+, Ladyzetta and everyone else, may you all have a blessed New Year!

Hi Iris. One good thing about having dementia, specifically Alzheimers is that the memories don't stay and what happened in 2020 is now just a BIG fog. (and will soon be gone as a memory).
I always joke about these things in our Alzheimers support group Circle of Friends and we laugh and joke about these positive things that we can't remember.
As bad as the dementia will get, I feel that we need to laugh as long as we can. What is the alternative? This is what I explain to everyone.
