Dear ALZConnected Community,
Help inform Alzheimer's Disease International's (ADI) World Alzheimer Report, titled 'Journey through the diagnosis of dementia' by completing this short survey. Perspectives from individulas living with dementia and their caregivers are requested.
We've included their message about this opportunity below:
We are pleased to announce that the second survey for this year’s World Alzheimer Report is now available. This survey is aimed at people living with dementia and informal carers. In the context of this survey, an informal carer is a family member, friend or neighbour who is not paid to provide care or support.
As you may already know, ADI has commissioned McGill University, Montreal, Canada to produce both the 2021 World Alzheimer Report on 'Journey through the diagnosis of dementia' and the 2022 report on post diagnosis support. This vital survey for the 2021 World Alzheimer Report focusses specifically on the diagnosis journey, up to and including diagnosis. We will cover post diagnosis support in a separate and more detailed survey later this year, ready for 2022.
The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and your answers will be completely anonymous. It is available in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. To choose your preferred language, select your choice from the menu on the top right hand corner on the survey.
If this survey applies to you, we please ask that you complete it before Monday 17 May. Alternatively, if this survey does not apply to you, we ask that you please share with anyone you know who may be living with dementia or who provides informal care for somebody living with dementia.
Through collecting a wide-range of diverse voices, we can truly begin to understand the diagnosis experience for millions of people living with dementia around the world.
