My sweet DH took to dancing for the folks at the Day Care, just on a whim. Now he thinks he's Fred Astaire and wants to find a dance partner and take his show on the road. I suggested he call it "Dancing with Dementia." He's sure he can make lots of money doing this. It's all he talks about now...I want to laugh, but I can't in front of him. Just wanted to put something funny on board today.

It's interesting that you bring this up, because we have a friend with LBD who can twirl a baton, and I was just thinking today that it would be lovely if she could have an audience, but a sympathetic and understanding one.
I think there's a local organization that puts on performances by kids who have various handicaps -- cerebral palsy, for example. It would be nice to have something like that for people with "memory issues."

Yes, that would be a great fundraiser for the Alz Organization. He feels really safe and is getting lots of good "props" from the people at his Day Care.
