I am sorry to hear about your mother. I loved how you changed "He ain't heavy" to "She ain't heavy, she's my mother". I too miss my mom every second. Here's a big Hug for you. Stay proud of your mom as I will.

Thanks for all the kind words and concern. As caring for mom was my fulltime job for the last 8 years, I don't expect that the transition will be swift nor easy. One day at a time... Smiler

Moms_Buddy,
I'm sorry about your Mom. How wonderful it was that you were able to hold her in your arms. I hope I am blessed to be able to be there to hold my Mom when her time comes. I know you miss her. Please, call you local AD assn for help, support and assistance. You may, also, try calling Hospice as they have Grief Counselors who can help you go thru the process. Grief is a process that is sometimes difficult and time-consuming. You've been a wonderful daughter and caregiver. Your Mom was very blessed. Please, take care of yourself. You Mom would want you to be happy. She is happy now and at Peace.

Please, keep us posted.

Peace and Hope,

So sorry to hear of your moms passing. What a wonderful way to have her in your arms and share that special time with her. My mom is with me and is in stage 6 for the last two years. I hope I have the chance to be at her side. Take a day at a time. My prayers are with you.
