There is, if I recall, a court case pending. In many Continuing Care Communities, residents can eat anyplace they chose, Independent or Assisted Living. At this one posh residence, some of the Independent Living residents decided that eating and witnessing the behavior of some of the people in Assisted Living disturbed their dining pleasure. So the edict went out- only those in Independent Living can dine in our fine establishment.
