Yes, peer Volunteers can post what they are going through. Ex. Marjk and the her mom's crisis.
Lisa, I don't understand a lot of why something works and something else doesn't. It is/was a discussion on the caregivers board.
I thought it would be interesting to see where those of us with the disease were.

Mimi,
It would be nice to hear from others with this disease. I can't read the discussion but i think I would stop my meds when they stopped.
I have been very lucky with my meds.
I think my family and I could decide when the meds were no longer effective.

I cannot figue out how to do this either, but if you go to search and put in quotation marks when do you stop medications (and then after hitting search click on that same phrase when it comes up), you can read the entire discussion--which was quite interesting.

I remember this thread on the Caregiver board. It was about stopping meds in late stage patients. I tried to search for it but couldn't find it.
If people are interested in this topic, you can start your own disucssion here about when you want meds stopped.
