Isaiah 30:9 New International Version (NIV)
9”For these are rebellious people, deceitful children,
children unwilling to listen to the Lord’s instruction.”
Isaiah 30:18 New International Version (NIV)
“Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you;
therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.
For the Lord is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for him!”
“We, who repeatedly ignore the instruction of the Lord and by our actions say, ‘Stop confronting us with the Holy One of Israel’ (Isa. 30:11 NIV), are undeserving. Yet, God earnestly ‘waits’ to be gracious and to show us mercy and loving-kindness. How blessed are all those who long for Him, for they will experience His grace.”—A Bible Study on Becoming A Woman of Grace, by Cynthia Heald
me: All through the Bible, Old and New Testament, we are reminded that God wants our faith, our obedience, our all. We are also reminded He is gracious and compassionate toward us. So let’s pray often for His help in obeying Him, in putting Him first in our lives.

When we choose faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and when we choose to obey His Words, Holy Spirit will enable us to serve Him. But we are human and sometimes fail, we must ask our Lord to forgive us. All of us who interact and care for difficult people can relate. This is when it is good to remember, God extends His grace and compassion toward us. God loves us so let’s choose to obey Him each and every day. His faithfulness toward us never fails.
