It's been a rough day here with dad, I love him very much, but I sure don't like him today. I hope that makes sense to someone here, I have been crying all day feeling so guilty.

We've all been there, or at least I suspect we all have. I know I've been there. Give yourself a break. You are grieving the dad you've always known. Grief doesn't only come after your LO has passed. It's a continuous process throughout.

I have been there many times and will be there many times more. My mom and I used to have viscous hurtful fights. Since dad passed away we only have each other so it has gotten better but her Alzheimer's is advancing rapidly. We do our best and that is all we can do. Try to go easy on yourself. I know it is hard to do but it is a marathon not a sprint. Take care.

Oh no baby it's not just you. I'm right there at this very moment.  I understand the sadness and feeling guilty cause I want to quit so bad right now. Just throw my hands up and disappear. But we just gotta hang in there, and how ironic is it that if my mom was in here right state of mind she would tell me that "this too shall pass."
