Can anyone tell me the name of some websites where I can hire caregivers?  I found care.com but can't find others and I've been searching for quite a while.

Any ideas??

All I know is care.com and I found 3 good people on it-so it is possible-but you have to do your homework, ie, interview intensely and call all the references and do a background check. If anything seemed amiss, that was a sign for me to stop the hiring process. Good luck!

Thanks Tess,  Do you have to pay through Care.com or can you private pay the caregiver.

I private paid them as contract workers, but the care.com payroll is very easy to use and reasonable if you use the caregiver works lot of hours. We looked into it but we didn't use the caregivers  long enough.

Thanks again Tess,  I have a caregiver working already but need a back up.  I pay her and my accountant takes care of all taxes for me and any employees I may have.  That is why I wanted to be able to not use the care.com system.

thanks!

A home health worker just recommended Carelinx.com to me a few weeks ago. I haven't done much except pop on the site so I don't know how it works, but give it a shot!
