I am getting counseling and working through my depression. Peewee and I are back together. His son has decided that he really didn't want to be totally responsible for his dad.  He does not have guardianship, and he realized  that it's harder being a caregiver than he thought it was going to be. I no longer work overnight. I now work for 4:00 pm to 1:00 am. I now have my Niece and her family living in my home and staying with peewee while I work. So he is now not left alone.

Glad to hear that Peewee is back with you and I hope everything goes as well as can be expected with this disease for you both. I also hope that Peewee happy to be back with you and his son sees that you are doing the best for him.

I am so glad that you checked back in ladypeewee . I had been wondering how everything was going for you. It seems you have the situation well under control, at least for now.

Hello Lady P., it is really great to hear from you.  It sounds as though you have been doing a lot to get things settled; I so hope that having family move in with you is being helpful.  Peewee must be happier to be at home again.  Keep us Posted, we do think of you when we don't hear.

J.

Thanks everyone for the positive replies. I was more depressed that what I thought I was. But now things or getting better. Working nights and taking care of Peewee was more than I could handle. Now with the new shift I am not under as much stress as I was and I am getting more sleep. Which helps so much. I can think straight now. So for now good night.

I am glad things worked out for you and you may have gotten some R&R because of all of this. Others always think its easer until they need to do it themselves. That is the problem with this disease when you see us you can not tell until you spend time with us.
