A research team from Vanderbilt University Medical Center is conducting research on how online platforms, such as Reddit, ALZConnected, and Facebook, can assist informal caregivers for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias (ADRD).
Informal ADRD caregivers refer to those caregivers who are family members, friends, neighbors of the care recipient, or other unpaid caregivers. As part of this research, Vanderbilt is requesting caregiver participation in an online survey that will ask about your background, caregiving experience, as well as your belief in the value of support from other ADRD caregivers, or any experience of using any online platforms (such as Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, ALZConnected) for seeking informational or emotional support for caregiving a person living with ADRD.
The survey includes 61 questions which will take approximately 20-25 minutes to complete. Participants will have the chance to win one of 48 amazon gift cards (2 $100, 6 $50, and 40 $25 cards).
You are under no obligation to participate.
