The administration wats this to be user friendly for us. We just need to have the developers work on a few tweaks here and there!

That would be a GREAT idea! I'm sure Admin must have records and could contact people to help them make the transition.
Another idea is for those of you who are using the off-site chat to encourage others who are there to join us. Probably the new site will eventually be found, but I hate to think that there are hurting people who need this support.

Those particular members I have never seen in chat. But emailing is a great idea. Especially since we have the new email feature, which goes to their main email address. Let's start emailing all the missing patient members and see if we can reach them! This is the best idea I've heard since we lost our perfect board.
P.S. Apparently we can only email members to whom we ALREADY HAVE A "CONNECTION" TO. This defeats the purpose of locating LOST MEMBERS WHO HAVE NOT MADE THE TRANSITON FROM THE OLD BOARD.
What a disappointment!

JAB, I will see what admin can do. I have enough information on Lorene that I think I may be able to get a message to her through the library she goes to. The problem is compounded because most of my notes are on my computer that crashed about a month ago!
I hope patty cake can ask someone to help her. Steve-SanJose is computer savvy and probably won't have a problem. I'm more concerned about those who have dementia struggles and whether they can grasp the change regarding login.
Lorene's eyes are so bad that she will have difficulty with this print and type color. We will find a way to contact them. We know they need us to continue to fight depression.
Thanks everyone. I'm sorry this is happening at a tough time of year.

Lorene made it!! She is now aka "Hopeful30". Tracy, Younghope I hope will come back in time. I contacted admin by usuing the "contact us" at top of this
page. They responded and said as soon as the archives are complete, they can access the member contact information.
If you have someone you want them to check on, please submit their names at "Contact us."

I wonder how long it will take to back-up the old boards???
